After 2020, we all needed a break from our screens, so our Teen Advisory Board came up with monthly Take and Make Kits for tweens and teens in grades 6 and up! Teen Take and Make Kits are designed for you to participate in Library programs without having to come to the Library for scheduled events! Each kit comes with the instructions and supplies you need for a craft that you can do on your own time. The projects are also perfect for when you need a break from everyday stresses.
October’s Take and Make is book hedgehogs! Each kit comes with supplies to create your own art out of upcycled books! Teens in grades 6 and up can sign up for a kit through our Take and Make Form. Sign ups are open while supplies last! Nicole will let you know when your kit is available for pick up in the Teen Section.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Medford Arts Council, a local commission that is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the City of Medford.
Previous Kits
Teen Take and Make kits began in January 2021. In case you missed one, we’ll post the instructions from each kit so you can try them out with your own supplies at a later date!
