Library Building & History

The new library

The new Medford Public Library is on the way!  In 2017, the City of Medford received a grant from the Board of Library Commissioners for construction of a new library.  In Spring 2018, the City Council approved funding. Since then, the architects, project manager, library/city staff, and the Building Committee have been hard at work.  If all goes well, the new MPL will open in Fall 2021!

New Library, New Name!

State-of-the-Art Medford Public Library to be named the Charlotte and William Bloomberg Medford Public Library.
