Special Events

Flyer for Teen College Essay Review. High school seniors can sign up for a 15 minute 1on 1 session for advice on college essay drafts. Wednesdays from 5-8pm on September 18 and September 25. Sign up required.

Art and Maker Events

Crochet Club for teens - Learn the basics of crocheting or work on a current project. All skill levels are welcome. 6pm in the Teen Section on Thursday, September 12, October 10, and November 14. Sign up is required.

String Art - Thursday, September 19 from 6:30-7:30pm for teens in middle school and high school. Sign up is required!

Flyer for Teen Creative Writing, Fall 2024. Meets on the following Wednesdays in the Tech Lab from 3:30-4:30pm: September 4 (Picture Books), October 2 (Myths & Legends), and November 6 (Scripts). For teens in grades 6 and up. Sign up is required!

There are no assigned projects in this program - it is your chance to explore and experiment with different making tools. 6-8pm: September 10, October 8, and November 12. Sign up is required. Chameleon

Flyer for Middle School Chameleon. Meets on the following Tuesdays in the fall at 3:30 pm in the Maker Space: September 17, October 29, November 19. For LGBTQIAP+ teens and allies in grades 6-8.

Gaming and Tech Events:

Flyer for Teen Game Nights - take a break and play some games - video games, board games, and more! In the Teen Section: September 3, October 1, November 5, 6:30-8pm. No sign up needed, just drop in. For teens in middle and high school.

Flyer for Drop in Coding Sessions for students in grades 3-8. Saturdays, 9-11am in the Tech Lab: September 7, September 14, and September 21. In these drop in sessions, students will use Scratch to start a new project or continue working on a current project. All skill levels are welcome! Sign up is encouraged but not required.
