Chameleon

Chameleon

Chameleon is the library’s drop-in group for LGBTQIAP+ teens and allies in grades 6 and up! It is currently split into two groups by grade level — Chameleon: Middle School (for teens in grades 6-8) and Chameleon: High School (for teens in grades 9-12). Chameleon: Middle School meets on the third Tuesday of the month, and Chameleon: High School meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month.

With a focus on a different theme each month, drop-in to the group that fits your grade level to chat, connect, work on fun projects, and play games in a safe, open, and welcoming space. No one is required to disclose any aspect of their identity in order to attend.

If you aren’t able to attend meetings, you can still find projects and resources shared on the Chameleon tumblr! Head there to find projects you can contribute to, book and media recommendations, and other informational resources!
