Chameleon

Chameleon

Chameleon is the library’s drop-in group for LGBTQIAP+ youth and allies in grades 6 and up! Typically, the group meets twice a month in order to chat, connect, work on fun projects, and play games in a safe, open, and welcoming space.

While we’re social distancing, we won’t be holding regular virtual meetings, but there will be plenty of projects and resources shared on the Chameleon tumblr! Head there to find projects you can contribute to, book and media recommendations, and other informational resources!

Current Projects:

This summer, we’re partnering with local and state organizations to bring you a summer full of free LGBTQIAP+ workshops, events, art collabs, and more! This series is designed for middle school and high school teens.

For project and sign up information, head over to Translate Gender’s official website.

Chameleon members are working on a GAYBCs picture book to join our Medford Local Authors collection. Pick a letter and help make a page of your own!
