Teen Book Clubs

Teen Book Clubs

For the foreseeable future, all events will be virtual and held over Zoom. Sign up is required for all events in order to receive the Zoom links. You can participate while offscreen and muted in all of our virtual events! If you are more comfortable participating by just listening in or typing in the chat, that is perfectly okay!

Teen Graphic Novel Club

Our Teen Graphic Novel Club club meets once a month to discuss graphic novels. Each month there is a focus on one in particular. All graphic novels discussed at the meetings are available to download for free from hoopla with your library card or for pickup at the library! For teens in grades 6 and up. Meetings will resume in the Fall once we have moved into our new building!

Middle School No-Book Book Club

Flyer for Middle School No-Book Book Club: Meets June 23 at 4pm. There's no assigned book in this book club! Practice shelf care and read books that YOU choose. Then come talk about them with other Medford teens. For teens in middle school.

The Middle School No-Book Book Club currently meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month. This is a “no-book” book club! Instead of an assigned book, we talk about all the books we’ve been reading for fun, what we’ve liked and didn’t like, and share recommendations! For teens in grades 6-9.

If you love reading and talking about books, you can lead a virtual Teen Book Club session and receive volunteer hours for your work! Book Club Leaders select the book in advance, advertise their meeting, prepare discussion questions, and recommend similar titles to read. To sign up, please fill out the Teen Book Club Leader Application and we will get back to you ASAP to start setting up your digital book club! For teens in grades 7 and up.
