Shirley Gerald Ware is the published author and poet of eleven books. She has written over three hundred poems. She credits her deceased parents for her ability to write. She gives credit to her Professors at Northeastern University. It is her hope to inspire others to write. Shirley volunteers her time teaching poetry to the elderly and people in the community.

Shirley taught a course “The Art Of Writing Poetry and Short Stories” and it was well received by the seniors. She will be teaching “Three Ways to Write and Publish Poetry” at the Library and the Senior Center.

This is a 4-part class.  Please register here.

Registration begins July 1.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Medford Arts Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
