Join David Ferriero, 10th archivist of the United States, and Marjorie Bloomberg Tiven of Bloomberg Philanthropies for a conversation about the role and future of libraries and archives. Today more than ever, these institutions are essential, preserving intellectual freedom, providing access to information, and preserving history.
David Ferriero was the 10th Archivist of the United States, serving from 2009 to 2022. Before coming to the National Archives, Mr. Ferriero served as the Andrew W. Mellon Director of the New York Public Libraries (NYPL). He has served at MIT, and Duke University in Durham, NC.
