Shirley Gerald Ware, will be teaching “The Art of Writing Poetry and Short Stories” at Medford Public
Library beginning September 5th to October 17th once a week, from 1pm to 2pm. Shirley is the author
of ten published books and the publisher of a literary magazine that publishes teen and adult writers.
Her poetry is published on Facebook weekly and she is credited for writing over two hundred poems and
short stories. “The Art of Writing Poetry and Short Stories” is funded supported in part by a grant from the Medford Arts Council. The seniors at 101 Riverside Avenue loved Shirley’s short Stories and poetry. I promise you a fun afternoon, come on out.
