Teen Poetry Club with Vijaya Sundaram – Medford’s Poet Laureate

For students in middle school and high school.

Take the mic and shine a light on the issues that matter most to you, with passion, lyricism, and force. Teen Poetry Club will meet once a month to read and discuss the work of great poets, while crafting and performing our own work.

What else will we do?
-Read, memorize, and recite poems you love;
-Explore the beauty and magic of language;
-Discuss poetic structure: forms, meter, rhyme, imagery;
-Write and perform your own poetry;
-Videos and special guests.

Sign up is required. Registration for this event will begin on March 1.
