To celebrate Free RPG Day and collaborative storytelling games, the Medford Public Library will be hosting “oneshot” role-playing game adventures run by volunteer “Game Masters” from the surrounding communities and offering Free RPG Day free adventure booklets and other materials while supplies last! These free materials are provided by friendly local game stores. GMs will be running adventures of their choosing in systems of their choosing, with detailed information and sign ups to be made available online. Come and celebrate collaborative storytelling and tabletop gaming by weaving a tale of adventure with your neighbors!
Space is limited. Register on the online calendar for individual games or come and watch!
The Sablewood Messengers: Daggerheart Quickstart Adventure
GM: Micah Kesselman — I have been playing tabletop roleplaying games for over 20 years and started with Dungeons and Dragons 3.0/3.5, but am noawadays much more active with systems outside of Dungeons and Dragons and d20.
Game: The Sablewood Messengers quickstart adventure is an introductory adventure for the Daggerheart RPG set in its unique world and setting. This adventure can be run for up to five players using the pregenerated characters provided by the adventure. Daggerheart is a novel system currently in open playtesting that is developed by Darrington Press and Matt Mercer, of Critical Role fame. The party has been tasked by King Emeris to deliver a mysterious package to the quaint village of Hush, deep in the Sablewood, an ancient and primeval forest in which countless dangers lurk beneath its towering canopy.
