As we will be prepping to move back to our library on High Street, we’re keeping the summer reading challenge simple and sweet this year.

Children ages 0-12 (or entering grade 5) can register for the Kid Edition Summer Reading Challenge at medfordlibrary.beanstack.org and log every minute they’re reading from June 19th-August 31st.

Summer is a great time to try out new books and explore different ways of reading. But don’t forget that everything counts! Newspapers, magazines, comics, audiobooks—hey, if you’re reading, COUNT those minutes.

WHY? Because this year our Summer Reading Prize is the best one ever!!!

Our top 5 readers and 3 random ‘raffled’ winners [plus their families] will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to sneak into the NEW Medford Public Library before it opens to the public for an all-access tour and ice cream party.
