Beverly Almond, a young secretary in NYC at the time of Pearl Harbor, left security and home to work in England at the height of the war. She worked for 2 and a half years at Bletchley Park, the top secret center in the English countryside where the German military messages were being intercepted and decoded.
Her story was written by her daughter, Anne Hamlin who will talk about her mother’s adventures during the war.
Anne is an active member of the Medford Community.
This event is co-sponsored by the Medford Historical Society and Museum.
