For kids in 4th and 5th grade only
**This month’s book club is going to meet for a full hour because we’re going to have a special guest! Author James Howe himself is visiting to talk about what it was like to turn his classic book, Bunnicula, into a graphic novel, and answer all of your questions about what it’s like to write books for kids (or anything else you might want to ask)! Each kid who attends will get a free copy of the book to keep and get signed by James Howe!**
This month, we’re reading Bunnicula: The Graphic Novel by James Howe (with Andrew Donkin):
Harold the dog and Chester the cat must find out the truth about the newest pet in the Monroe household–a suspicious-looking bunny with unusual habits…and fangs! Could this innocent-seeming rabbit actually be a vampire? Experience the chills and thrills of this classic tale in an all-new graphic novel format!
The book is available for pickup at the Children’s Desk about one month in advance.
4th and 5th Grade Book Club will meet in the Maker Space.
Sign up is required for this program. Registration will begin on September 1. Please complete the sign up form below.
