Whether you’re researching a topic for school or just learning for fun, we’ve got you covered with digital resources, all available from home 24/7.

You have access to a wide variety of online resources through the Minuteman Library Network. You can find the complete list here, but we’ve pulled out a select few that are kid-specific. Some resources will require you to enter your library card number to sign in.

Britannica Elementary – Offers high-quality online learning materials for kids in grades 3-5 that have been developed by teachers and curriculum experts.

LOTE4Kids (Languages Other Than English) – A database of digital picture books created for children to enjoy books and learn language through storytelling. There are over 4,500 digital books in over 70 languages together with English translations. Your library card gets you free access to this program!

Mango Languages – Mango is designed to equip you with conversational abilities from the very start. Mango immerses you in real, everyday conversations in a wide variety of foreign languages. It also features ESL instruction in English, tailored for speakers of more than a dozen languages.

PebbleGo – Access hundreds of animal articles, educational games, and learning activities from school or from home with easy to-use searching tools.

kanopy – An on-demand streaming video service that offers thousands of award-winning documentaries, training films and theatrical releases across diverse subjects and disciplines. This service provides access to films and documentaries from a variety of independent filmmakers and distributors, including the BBC, PBS and the Criterion Collection.
