Our program will begin with a brief introduction to capoeira as a culture and martial art. We will learn a few traditional capoeira songs, and our performers will do a demonstration of the art. Members of the audience will be then invited to learn some very basic capoeira movements, and to practice the songs and movements we learned in a closing game.
