To use Hoopla, you must be a Medford resident. To start, you will need to set up an account using your library barcode number. You can access Hoopla from your PC, or using the Hoopla app.
There is a borrowing limit of 8 items per person per month.
Changes to Hoopla
Our Hoopla streaming service through Midwest Tapes has been even more successful than we anticipated.
The maximum borrowing limit has been reduced to 8 for each user.
We have placed a spending limit on each month. This in turn places a limit on the number of items that can be borrowed per day. If you are trying to borrow an item and get a notice that the borrowing limit has been met, that means the spending cap has been reached for that day.
The limit resets at 8:00 p.m. EST.
We appreciate your patience!
Use Overdrive to download ebooks and audiobooks directly to your computer and personal devices or access them from your browser. Items need to be digitally checked out, so they might not be available immediately or have waiting lists, just like print books.
To start, create an account using your library barcode number, and download the OverDrive app (for PCs and mobile devices).
