Winter 2024-2025 SAB Report

As of December 2nd, 2024, the Senior Advisory Board (SAB) is delighted to announce that for our autumn events, we had a total of 78 seniors join us for various crafting, a lovely Italian lunch from Real Gusto, pumpkin carving, and to talk about Artificial Intelligence. 

 

With the success of our autumn programs, the SAB is excited to announce the following programs for seniors over the age of 55 for our winter season. Click the link of the program title to register for the program(s). Registration is required due to space constraints. 

 

55+ Crafternoon: Wine Cork Snowman

Tuesday, December 3rd, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Bonsignore Hall

Get creative with this fun and festive craft! Learn how to transform ordinary wine corks into a charming snowman. We’ll provide all the necessary materials, including glue, glitter, and googly eyes. A bit about the board: The Charlotte and William Bloomberg Medford Public Library Senior Advisory Board (SAB)  is a group of senior volunteers, 55 or older, who help make the library a welcoming space for their peers. SAB meets in person as a group once a month in order to help plan senior library programs, create senior resources, and give feedback on the services and programs for seniors. Why apply?
