Teen Summer Reading

Teen Summer Reading

2023 Teen Reading Challenge

For teens entering grades 6-12

This summer, you can earn raffle tickets by logging your time spent reading and the items you’ve finished reading! What counts as reading? Did you read words? It counts! Did you listen to words? It counts! You can also earn some extra tickets by completing some of our bookish challenges.

There are TWO raffles that you can enter with your tickets: our end of year raffle for a chance to win one of five gift baskets AND/OR our end of summer raffle for a chance to tour the new library building before our grand opening! You are welcome to enter both of these raffles or just one. They’re your tickets to spend!

Sign up at medfordlibrary.beanstack.org to get started! Teens can join the 2021 Teen Reading Challenge at any time this year, but the summer raffle for the library tour will only be open until August 31! If you’ve already signed up for the 2021 Teen Reading Challenge, then you are all set! Keep logging books and earning raffle tickets.

If you’ve signed up for one of the library’s previous reading challenges, you can use the same login information or create a new account.

School Summer Reading

We have copies of all the books on the summer reading lists for students in grades 6 – 12 at the Medford Public Schools. Head to the Youth Services section to browse the shelves, or send a no-contact pickup request to Nicole at nperrault@minlib.net. If the book you are looking for is not available, we can help you place a hold on it. Copies go fast, so try not to wait until the last minute!

If you have any questions, please contact Nicole in the Teen Section:
