The Charlotte and William Bloomberg Medford Public Library LGBTQ+ Book Group will run October 2020 through and including May 2021.

All are welcome to read and discuss literary and non-fiction works by and about the LGBTQ+ community; from classics to contemporary titles.

October 8: When Brooklyn was Queer by Hugh Ryan

November 12: Under the Udala Trees by Chinelo Okparanta

December 10: Her Body and Other Parties: stories by Carmen Maria Machado

January 14: Wow, No Thank You: essays by Samantha Irby

February 11: Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin

March 11: Mostly Dead Things by Kristen Arnett

April 8: On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong

May 13: Boy Erased: a memoir of identity, faith and family by Garrard Conley

We’ll discuss the books remotely via Zoom so please email Judy at jnudelman@minlib.net for the Zoom meeting address and password.
