Directions to the Library
Driving Directions
From north and south of Boston, take Rt. 93 to the Rt. 60 exit towards Medford Square. Enter the next roundabout, and take the first exit onto Salem St. (Rt. 60 West.) Turn slight right onto High St. Go through one traffic light. The next traffic light is in front of the Library, parking is in the rear.
From west of Boston, take 128 to Rt. 2 (east) to the Rt. 60/Pleasant Street exit. Turn left onto Pleasant St./Rt. 60. Stay on Rt. 60, cross Mass. Ave, pass through 2 roundabouts staying on Rt. 60. The Library is about three blocks down from the second roundabout on the left. St. Joseph’s Church is across the street on the right. Parking is up behind the building.
Public Transportation
You can reach the Library by public transportation via the 94, 95, 96, 101, and 134 buses.
From the Orange Line take the 95 or 101 bus from Sullivan Square, the 101 bus from Malden Station, or the 134 bus from Wellington Station.
From the Red Line, take the 96 bus from Harvard Square, or the 94 or 96 bus from Davis Square. Get off at the Medford Square stop.

Parking
Parking spaces are available in the lot behind the library. Handicapped parking spaces are located in the front of the ramped High Street entrance
Book Drop
A book drop for books only is located outside of the High St. entrance. All other materials must be returned to the Circulation Desk when the Library is open. A fine $2.00 per item will be charged for magazines, cassettes, CD’s, CD-Roms, or books on tape returned in the drop. A fine of $5.00 per item will be charged for videos, DVDs or museum passes returned in the book drop.
Homebound Delivery
Are you "homebound" either permanently or on a temporary basis? If so, you can arrange to have Library materials delivered to your home. To arrange for home service, please call Mary Gallant in the Reference Department at(781) 395-7950.
